Dorobo Safaris
Owned and operated by Mike and Lisa Peterson, Dorobo Safaris specializes in the unparalled experience of spending time in the bush with the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last hunter gatherer people on Earth. With the Hadzabe, clients can hunt and forage. From there they often head off to climb the semi-active volcano Oldonyio Lengai – “the Maasai Mountain of God” — and/or safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks, the Serengeti and beyond. UNITE is excited to announce our partnership with Dorobo. Together we are rolling out a new line of yoga service safaris, of which the first will run in January 2013. Our team will practice and teach yoga with the Hadzabe, the Maasai and others. We will also practice, explore and discover deep in the bush in some of the most spiritual spots in all of East Africa.
