UNITE is always organizing safaris and cultural service tours for individuals, couples and families who are traveling on their own to Africa. We work with our partner safari outfitters to create the experience that is perfectly tailored to you and your needs, dreams, goals and desires.
And, at least once each year, UNITE’s Executive and Managing Directors, sisters Anne Wells and Kim Merriman, lead a tour themselves. Guests who accompany Anne and Kim are able to experience a greater degree of immersion with our partner non-profit organizations across the country as many months are spent preparing for our arrival and the meaningful work that is done while we are together on the ground.

A Yoga Service Safari
January – February 2013
We have partnered with Dorobo Safaris and yogi Annie Clark, owner of HELLO Yoga in Wilton, Connecticut, to offer this exciting new yoga service safari in Tanzania. The first of its kind, this tour combines the teaching and practicing of yoga with UNITE partners across the Northern Circuit as well as with the Maasai and Hadzabe tribes in some of the most magnificent and spiritual places in all of East Africa. A Global Girls UNITE Tour
June – July 2013
UNITE’s Director Anne Wells and our Director of Global Girls UNITE Simone Quinn will lead a group of girls and their parents to Tanzania next summer to meet in person the peers we have been communicating with for the past few years. Many of the girls have started independent study projects with their schools that will culminate in this tour.
